Why Now!

I hear it all the time, I would love to hire a stylist. But why do you hesitate to actually follow through with this?

Do you put everything else in front of your needs - the kids, the bills, getting the plumbing sorted, saving for that next holiday. Guilty about spending that kind of money on yourself, especially if you are a stay at home mum?

Is it fear - what will she think of my style? My wardrobe is a complete mess? I feel a bit embarrassed getting undressed in front of a stylist (but you don’t have too. But I find that all my clients, end up feeling so comfortable that this isn’t an issue).

Trust - how do you find the right stylist for you, that you connect with and understands you and your lifestyle - this is really important. That is why I have a Zoom or Facetime before working with a client, to make sure we are the right fit for each other.

Time Constraints - trying to fit this into your already busy schedule. Just FYI, I can do a Wardrobe Refresh on a Saturday if your work fulltime.

But how would it feel if you took the leap;

  1. Time Saver: How busy are you each day, who has time to spend hours digging through clothes racks or scrolling endlessly online? A fashion stylist is like your personal time-saving guru, helping you skip the fashion hunt and get straight to looking great.

  2. Confidence Booster: We all know that feeling good about how we look can totally change our day, right? That's where a fashion stylist swoops in like a superhero, giving you that extra boost of confidence by helping you style outfits that make you feel like a million bucks.

  3. Professional Guidance: Not everyone's born with a natural sense of style, and that's okay! Think of a fashion stylist as your stylish best friend who's got all the insider tips and tricks to help you navigate the fashion world like a pro.

  4. Investment in Self: Taking care of yourself is super important. Working with a fashion stylist isn't just about clothes – it's about investing in yourself, showing yourself some love, and feeling amazing inside and out.

  5. Versatile Solutions: Whether you're gearing up for a big event, refreshing your everyday look, or just need a little wardrobe pick-me-up, a fashion stylist has got your back with tailor-made solutions that fit your lifestyle like a glove.

Would you believe that it took me several years before I took the leap to hire a fashion stylist. That helped me introduce more colour into my wardrobe, igniting my own sense of style and what made me happy and utlimately getting my confidence back. Then this lead me to starting my own career in fashion styling. Helping women just like myself, who have lost their sense of style after becoming a mum with body changes, feeling a bit isolated if you choose to be a stay at home mum. Losing one’s sense of identity! Yes, I had all those feelings and more.

Since starting my business and now working also in a casual retail role, I wear what suits my body shape not my age. Some days you will see me in a pair of my daughters converse shoes, to wearing some of the latest “on trend” items. My current one is the vest (love them). But I am happy, my clothes reflect my personality now. I can help you discover yours again, if that is what you need or just help you update your wardrobe and find what gap pieces you need. The possibilities are endless, but you need to choose you first before anything else.
