Fake It, Until You Make It Attitude

How many times have we heard this in our lives? To some this may come easy but to others not so much.

When it comes to confidence in clothes, can we fake feeling fabulous?

I know people that can do this easily but for me my mindset plays a huge role in how I feel in my clothes. Can you relate? If I wake up feeling a bit bloated or in a bad mood, stressed or running late, this can alter my mood drastically.

If I am feeling this way, 9/10 I will automatically reach for my trusted jeans and a tee - they are easy and safe. If I am feeling this way and have a night out, oh boy.... you will hear those words, that even a stylist says, "I have nothing to wear". I know this isn't true but because I'm I know exactly what is in my wardrobe, but it’s that feeling.

So, what do you do?

Get an outfit that you know you feel comfortable in, if you have had a Wardrobe Refresh you will know what that is 😊, do your hair or if you are like me (have a blow wave booked in, OMG this makes a world of difference) put on some makeup or if you aren’t into makeup that’s fine.  Put on some accessories, nice shoes and viola you are ready to go.  Look in the mirror and repeat “I am fabulous” and go and have a good time.

So, the question remains, and I'd love to know, does mindset play a bigger role in what you wear each day?
