How To Keep White Clothes White
The key to keeping white clothes white is washing your whites separately but here a few more tips:
Seperate your whites & colours
Treat any stains with a stain remover that is suitable for the fabric. I use Napisan Vanish in the bright pink container. It is suitable for cotton and polyester clothes. Don’t use on silk or wool.
If the stain is stubborn, you my need to make a paste and leave it sitting on the stain. Don’t rub the stain too much, as this will seperate the fibres of the material.
Using a brightening detergent which will help also. If your whites have no stains, turn the garments inside out for washing, protects the material fibres.
Always follow the washing instructions. I tend to wash my t-shirts, blouses and pants with cold water.
For white socks that look grey in colour. Mix up some Napisan and warm water and let the socks soak overnight then wash.
If you have any yellow stains from deodorant on your white t-shirts or blouses. I use Sards stain remover. This lifts the stain really well and removes odours.
I hope you like these tips of keeping your white clothes whiter.
