Who Looks Back At You From The Mirror?
I have been reading The High 5 Habit by Mel Robbins, so bacially is about congratulating YOU and loving the person that looks back at your from the mirror. I haven’t finished it and keep on telling myself that I will start this new habit once I’ve finished the book - why not start now? To be honest, I’m scared, incase I can’t change that little voice that creeps into my head. You know that voice possibly?
So when you look in the mirror, do you love who you see. Or do you pick it to pieces. Don’t like my arms, breasts, legs, inner thighs, bum, face, hair and the list can go on and on.
But how liberating would it be to look in a full length mirror and say, you are amazing and look at where this body has got you. Possibly you’ve had children, run marathons, lost heaps of weight, put on weight, recovered from a serious illness, beat the odds that were given to you and this list can go on and on.
I know that I would rather take option B along with most of you.
So how about we all start this new habit all together by giving yourself a High Five each morning in the mirror and looking at yourself and I mean stop and really look at yourself and honour who you are. Love who you are and then go out into your day with a positive attitude and rocking that outfit too (yep always a stylist).
I’d love to hear from you on whether you have read the book and who is going to start the challenge with me.
